Style Frames - In the Dark

Some conceptual renders I made for the story book illustrations seen on In The Dark. Trying to match the target aesthetic for these was tricky especially on the cavern shots, for my task was to emulate the three brothers tale from Harry Potter (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR939M48BG4&pp=ygUUZGVhdGhseSBoYWxsb3dzIHRhbGU%3D). Some losses were taken on this with decision cuts, however, I felt it was worth sharing. Scenes were built in Maya with MASH, rendered in Arnold, and composited in photoshop.

I hope you enjoy them, cheers.
